Sleep Schedules
for Ages 4-13 Months
4-6 months
Begin the process of dropping to 3 daily naps. Your four month old might not be able to stay awake this long just yet. That’s ok!
7:00 am designated wake time (DWT) with milk
8:45-10:15 am Nap 1, followed by milk
12:15-1:30 pm Nap 2, followed by milk
3:45-4:45 pm Nap 3 followed by milk
6:45 pm bedtime routine with milk
7:00 pm Bedtime
Begin dropping the dream feed.
Might still need 1-2 nighttime feedings, but some can be weaned entirely.
6-7 months
Typically, these babies still are taking three daily naps. Keep 5 feedings per day until solids are established.

Sleep Schedules
for Ages 4-13 Months
7-9 months
Ensure you little one is having solids 3+ times per day following milk. This is a two-nap schedule.
7:00 am designated wake time (DWT) with milk
Breakfast Solids
9:30-11 am Nap 1, followed by milk
Lunch solids
optional milk top-off before nap if you feel your baby isn’t getting many solids
2:00-3:30 pm Nap 2, followed by milk
6:30pm Bedtime routine with milk
7:00pm bedtime
10-13* months
At this age I find it’s convenient to have a shorter morning nap and focus on lengthening the afternoon nap. This helps promote a seamless transition to one nap between 14-18 months!
Milk should be given as the priority food until 12 months. After that, milk is given WITH meals, following, or as a snack, offering solids primarily.
7am wake followed by milk
Breakfast Solids
10-10:45 nap 1, followed by milk
Lunch Solids
1:45-3:30/3:45 nap 2, followed by milk
Dinner Solids
630 bedtime routine with milk
7:15 pm bedtime
